Dez Bryant's Ankle Looking Just Fine
(6/27 8:40 PT)

The Facts:
Judging by the basketball game he played Saturday, Bryant appears to be in good physical shape. While participating in Josh Howard’s 5th Annual Celebrity Weekend in Dallas, Bryant held his own on a court that included NBA stars like Howard, LaMarcus Aldridge and Rashard Lewis. Energetically running up and down the floor, shooting threes and playing defense, Bryant never favored the ankle he injured last season. Reported by the Dallas Morning News

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Bryant, who played in 12 games in 2010 before ending his rookie campaign with a broken ankle, didn’t show any signs of physical weakness. He effortlessly threw down dunks during pregame warm-ups before playing the majority of the 40-minute game. The NFL lockout prevents players from working out at team facilities. However, earlier this month, Bryant told The Associated Press that the lockout hasn’t hurt his rehabilitation. “I'm working hard and I am staying focused on that,” he said on June 4. “I'm running routes every day to get ready. It was 104 degrees yesterday and I was running gassers. I feel good and I'm ready to play.”
