a previous item. ... According to Nashville Tennessean staffer Jim Wyatt, Britt surrendered himself to police in Nasvhille today and is free on $2,000 bond on warrants from making a false application on a license.

The warrants against Britt were taken out by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, and were outstanding until today. According to Wyatt, Britt was officially charged, fingerprinted and booked. He has a court date set for July 18. Again, this isn't a major issue from a criminal standpoint, but it certainly adds to a growing littany of issues that Britt will almost certainly be discussing with commissioner Roger Goodell once the lockout is over. ...
