Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Of course, as NFP staffer Aaron Wilson stressed, that that doesn't end his employment with the team. But there's ample evidence suggesting that Palmer is ready to make good on his threat to retire rather than play another snap in Cincinnati. Indeed, the sale of his house would just be the latest in that growing mountain of evidence. Multiple teammates and even HC Marvin Lewis have all but conceded that Palmer won't be with the team this year and that rookie Andy Dalton will be the likely starter at QB. And even if Bengals owner Mike Brown isn't, we'd suggest Fantasy Football owners take Palmer at his word until we have at least some reason to believe otherwise.
