Labor Talks End After Midnight; Set To Resume Early Friday
(6/30 11:10 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on the ongoing story. ... According to NFL Network insider Albert Breer, talks between the NFL and NFLPA officially over for the night. Parties will return here to negotiations at 8 a.m central time tomorrow morning. Seven hours from now. Reported by FootballDiehards.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
That's right, the two sides continued to negotiate until 1 a.m. local time with dinner brought in earlier in the evening. The best part? Despite an array of reports suggesting the talks didn't go especially well today, the two sides -- including players and owners, commissioner Roger Goodell and NFLPA chief DeMaurice Smith -- continued to work through the issues. That alone has to be a good sign. In fact, Washington Post staffer Mark Maske, while conceding a handshake deal probably is not within reach tomorrow, advised his Twitter followers that something by the end of next week seemingly remains a reasonable target.
