The Facts:
There are roughly 1,800 players in the NFL. On Sunday night, the players announced who they felt was the best of all of them. On the NFL Network show "The Top 100: Players of 2011," Brady was named as the best player in the league heading into the 2011 season, based on a vote by active players.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Trailing Brady on the list were Colts QB Peyton Manning, Vikings RB Adrian Peterson, Ravens LB Ray Lewis and Ravens FS Ed Reed. Steelers SS Troy Polamalu, Texans WR Andre Johnson, Revis, Saints QB Drew Brees and Bears DE Julius Peppers rounded out the top ten. As PFW suggested, arguments could be made for a handful of players, but it's hard to go wrong with Brady. His play over the past ten years has earned the respect of all his opponents, shown by this announcement.
