The Facts:
According to Nasvhille Tennessean beat writer Jim Wyatt, the Titans, who selected Jake Locker with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2011 draft, will look to possibly add a veteran QB to the staff to help mentor the rookie. “Keep Matt Hasselbeck on the radar. ... I’m talking about three members of the front office, all have ties to Seattle," Wyatt said. "They know Matt Hasselbeck."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Wyatt went on to suggest that Locker might best adjust to the Titans organization if he’s given the chance to work under a more experienced play-caller. “In time, he’s going to be a good fit for the Titans. I just think it’s going to take a little time. I think he fits in well. ...” Wyatt also pointed out that Locker likely knows Hasselbeck after playing his collegiate ball in Washington. ... And if they make a run at Hasselbeck and come up short? Wyatt believes the Titans will do what it takes to retain veteran Kerry Collins. Indeed, Wyatt's reporting reflects chatter that's been ongoing in recent weeks. Fantasy Football owners will clearly want to keep an eye on the situation, which will have an impact on Chris Johnson, Kenny Britt and Jared Cook among others.
