The Facts:
If the Washington Redskins elect to trade McNabb -- and they haven’t stated what they’re going to do with their big addition from a year ago – he’s not going to bring a whole lot in return. Jason Reid of the Washington Post speculates that McNabb’s value is so low it would be “surprising if any team offered more than a sixth- or conditional seventh-round pick for him.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As NFP staffer Brad Biggs suggests, that’s a huge drop from the second- and fourth-round picks the Redskins paid the Philadelphia Eagles for McNabb a year ago. At that price, surely McNabb will find a taker entering his 13th NFL season. But as Reid points out, Mike Shanahan and his son Kyle, the team’s offensive coordinator, did “so much to devalue McNabb.”
