This meshes with some information PFT's Mike Florio picked up today. According to PFT's Gregg Rosenthal, it’s uncertain if the surprise decision by the Eighth Circuit Court to rule Friday morning has caused the two sides to take a step back for a short time. But a step back it was. As ESPN insider Chris Mortensen advised his Twitter followers, "Not a good two days. That's all I can tell you. Wish I had different news. ..." We do, too. According to NFL spokesman Greg Aiello, the talks have recessed for the day. Negotiations will continue -- apparently via telephone. Face-to-face talks won't resume until Monday.
