Sanders: Dez Bryant Needs To Hire Some No Men
(7/12 12:14 PT)

The Facts:
The Cowboys have said they aren’t concerned about Bryant, and the WR himself has predicted a big season. But there are those that still worry about the star-crossed first-round draft pick from a year ago, including his former mentor Deion Sanders. Reported by The National Football Post

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The flamboyant cornerback, who will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame next month, discussed Bryant during a recent visit on WCNN’s “The Rude Awakening” show. “Everybody is (concerned about Bryant),” Sanders said, according to sportsradiointerviews.com. “I think the Cowboys are more concerned than I am. I’m not losing any sleep by any means. It’s hard to talk to a person when they have millions man because there is so much noise in their life. Everybody around them is employed and they have ‘yes men.’ You gotta start hiring a ‘no man.’ Somebody who is going to tell you no and somebody who is going to tell you the truth and a lot of these guys don’t and when it comes to him with a lot of things I had to cut my umbilical cord with him because a lot of things people do not know about. ..." As NFP staffer Brad Biggs summed up, it’s good to hear that Sanders has moved on to the point that he is rooting for Bryant again, but it sounds like he has some serious reservations that Bryant will be able to put things together completely.
