The Facts:
Following up on
the ongoing story. ... In an interview with ESPN's Colleen Dominguez, Bush blamed the Superdome turf for a lot of his injury struggles with the Saints. "I would attribute a lot of it to turf, to the FieldTurf," Bush said. "There's a difference between playing on grass, and then you play on FieldTurf and I feel like that attributes a big part to the injuries that happen in the NFL."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Bush has missed 20 games due to various injuries, most to his knees and legs. But New Orleans Times-Picayune staffer Jeff Duncan noted this morning that of Bush’s six injuries at the NFL level, only three have been on turf. Only one happened at the Superdome. ... Meanwhile, even though both parties have made it sound like he could remain in New Orleans, the most logical outcome is Bush becoming a free agent after the Saints release him (due to his $11.8 million salary). It sounds like he may focus on potential suitors that play their home games on grass.
