Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
PFW's Dan Arkush outlined a few reasons for that belief, including the fact that No. 1 WR Michael Crabtree continues to send shaky signals and has yet to show that he can be a consistent big-play threat the caliber of Davis, who has much better natural tools. Also, Davis won't be double-teamed as much as he was early last season, when deep-threat WR Ted Gin was out for a prolonged stretch with a knee injury. Finally, Arkush notes that Harbaugh really loves to employ tall, athletic, versatile TEs. ... Two seasons ago, Davis emerged as a breakthrough performers after tying the single-season league record for most TD catches with 13. Last season his numbers were significantly down -- he had 56 catches for 914 yards and seven TDs -- but it would appear Fantasy Football owners have reason to believe he'll pick up the pace again.
