According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the NFL and NFLPA have agreed to a new rookie pay scale. Schefter added, "There are still I's to dot, T's to cross on the rookie system, but it's not impediment to deal."

NFL Network reporter Albert Breer, appearing on Total Access a short time ago, suggested once the rookie wage scale is worked out, there’s not much else standing in the way of getting this thing done. Indeed, Breer went so far as to say if the rookie wage scale can be put to bed on Thursday, there’s a “50/50 chance” that the parties will be presenting a handshake deal to Magistrate Judge Arthur Boylan on Tuesday. ...
