Brandon Marshall Claims Wife Didn't Stab Him
(7/15 1:25 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on an ongoing story. ... Despite being hospitalized for a puncture wound to his abdomen and police arresting his wife, Michi Nogami-Marshall, on aggravated battery charges following a domestic dispute, Marshall claims that she didn't stab him. "I can't talk about the details of the incident because it's still an open case, but I did talk to the state attorney's office last month and the one thing I made clear was my wife did not stab me," Marshall told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "She didn't assault me. We were having a marital dispute that got heated, but it didn't happen as reported." Reported by The National Football Post

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Marshall's wife was arrested again June 10 for violating a restraining order when she returned to the couple's home. Marshall has talked to investigators after a lengthy delay and it's clear he doesn't want his wife to be in trouble with the law. He allegedly initially told police that he fell and cut himself on some broken glass, but that wasn't the case, according to police reports. Marshall's wife told police that she was acting in self-defense. ... Marshall has a history of domestic violence incidents with his wife and other past relationships. ... By all accounts, Marshall is fit and will be ready to work at full speed when training camps open.
