The Facts:
Following up on the ongoing story. ... After close friend and Kansas City QB Matt Cassel said on Thursday that he had seen no changes in the way Palmer had approached this offseason, Palmer confirmed to reporters on Friday that he continues to have the same throwing program that he has had in the past. That is about the only thing that Palmer would allow that was football related. When asked by other reporters if he had any comments on his future, Palmer remained steadfast and said that “I’m not going to talk about any of that stuff.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
So, as Enquirer staffer Joe Reedy notes, in case Mike Brown relents and does trade Palmer, the veteran quarterback, who will be entering his ninth season will be ready. Reedy went on to remind readers that San Francisco, Seattle and Miami remain the three teams most likely to be interested if Palmer is available. However, Brown remains adamant that Palmer is not available for trade. With the lockout on the verge of being settled though, that would mark the first legitimate time that teams could approach Brown about a deal. Palmer has four years and $50 remaining on his contract.
