The Facts:
What's atop the Jacksonville Jaguars' negotiating agenda? They want to lock up Lewis, their franchise player, to a long-term deal after the lockout ends. "At the top," Jaguars general manager Gene Smith told the Florida Times-Union when asked to rank the importance of signing Lewis. “Our own players will always be our first priority. I’ve said this before that it is our objective to get a long-term deal done with Marcedes.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
A Pro Bowl selection who caught 58 passes for 700 yards and 10 touchdowns last season, Lewis was assigned a franchise tag worth roughly $7.3 million. “All I can do is be optimistic about it,” Lewis said. “I think both sides have an idea of where we want to go. I’m just going to continue to handle my side and let them take care of that. I’m hoping we can get it done and get me in camp. ...” Whether he gets his long-term deal or not, Lewis has emerged as more than just a viable option for Fantasy Football owners. Given his current ADP (he's currently being drafted in the mid-8th round), Lewis could deliver elite production at a phenomenal price.
