The Facts:
The Patriots dumped Moss when he was actually producing, back when it was an unpopular move. It never made a lot of sense they would bring him back now after he failed with two other teams and the Patriots did so well without him. Still, speculation persisted that perhaps Moss would return for a low low price. That’s not going to fly per Shalise Manza Young of the Boston Globe. “Just don’t ask about Randy Moss returning,” Young told her readers Monday morning. “I’ve heard on good authority that’s not going to happen.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
We tend to agree with PFT's take; it never really made sense that Moss would return to New England despite their need for a deep threat to push Deion Branch and Brandon Tate for the role opposite Wes Welker. At this point, the Jets continue to be mentioned as a possible destination for Moss, who is reportedly in great and sporting a serious chip on his shoulder after playing for three different teams last season (New England, Minnesota and Tennesse) and coming up short in all three. ... And again, we'll advise Fantasy Football owners not to buy into the
"freakish shape" sales pitch currently being used by his agent to gin up interest. A wait and see approach remains the wisest at this point.
