Again that would continue to fall into line with reporting indicating that the players would like to vote on the potential agreement -- and recertify as a union -- in Washington D.C. tomorrow with the NFL voting to ratify the agreement at the owners meetings in Atlanta on Thursday. But there is a sticking point. The agents for Chargers WR Vincent Jackson and Patriots G Logan Mankins reportedly are demanding their clients become unrestricted free agents once the lockout is lifted or receive $10 million payments as part of the settlement of the Brady vs. NFL antitrust lawsuit. Both players are among 10 named plaintiffs in the lawsuit and both received franchise tags from their teams before the NFL locked out its players in March. Yahoo! Sports reported the demand, citing unnamed sources. Schefter, however, was adamant in advising his Twitter followers a short time ago that "Two players won't hold up 1,900 players, 32 teams and fans. ..." Stay tuned. More as developments warrant.
