According to reports out of San Francisco, Kevan Barlow (knee) and Arnaz Battle (knee) have been declared inactive for today's game against the Cardinals. On a more positive note, Joe Nedney is active and will handle his usual kicking chores with alternate Jose Cortez also declared inactive.

Although Frank Gore (hip) is active today, Maurice Hicks is slated to start at halfback in Barlow's absence. Johnnie Morton will start at wideout opposite Brandon Lloyd in Battle's absence.
