As previously noted, Colts owner Jim Irsay told reporters a short time ago that a vote would be taken within 60 to 90 minutes. According to Sports Xchange editor Howard Balzer, it appears a compromise will be agreement tonight, lockout lifted and then the players have a certain number of days to recertify as a union. Breer is convinced the outcome of the vote will be positive. ... The reason for the delay? According to SI.com's Don Banks, the NFLPA was upset by notion that NFL thinks they could recertify in hours; the NFL was upset by notion that the NFLPA thinks recertifying could take weeks. ...
