The Facts:
Rice has tried not to think about entering the final year of his contract, but the Ravens running back acknowledged the lockout has given him time to do so. "You start to think about where you want to play long-term," Rice said. "I don’t see why I wouldn’t want to stay in Baltimore. I’ve done right by them. I’m hoping one day that we're all right for each other and make it a long-term deal."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Rice is scheduled to earn $550,000 this season and become a free agent at the end of the year. Over the past two seasons, he has averaged 119.3 yards from scrimmage, which is second only to Tennessee's Chris Johnson. According to Sun staffer Jamison Hensley, a new contract for DT Haloti Ngata, who received the franchise tag this year, will be the team's top priority. They'll address Rice and QB Joe Flacco (who has two years left on his contract) after that.
