Giants co-owner John Mara made the rounds this afternoon on both WFAN 660 and ESPN 1050 after the players ratified the labor agreement. The most interesting thing he had to say concerned Burress. The Giants will “certainly. … Talk about” bringing Burress back, Mara said on 1050 ESPN. He added that the team will likely reach out to Burress’ agent to talk.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While they're likely to talk to Burress, all involved seem to believe he would be best served by plying his trade outside the harsh spotlight of the New York media. Given his past issues -- including his strained relationship with HC Tom Coughlin -- we'd be surprised if the Giants do more than talk.
