The Facts:
Many expected the Eagles to deal their backup quarterback once 10 a.m. Tuesday rolled around, but the Kolb trade situation is very fluid, an NFL source said. The Cardinals are still the leading candidates to land the 26-year-old, but a league source said "don't sleep on Seattle." The Seahawks have been interested in Kolb as far back as two years ago. Last off-season they reportedly offered at least one first round pick for him.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
If Seattle is indeed in the running for Kolb, it may take a high 2012 draft pick to get him. NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora is reporting that the Eagles are seeking a first rounder in return for Kolb. Seattle doesn't seem to have a starter the Eagles would covet. Still, as Inquirer staffer Jeff McClane notes, the Cardinals are the likely landing spot, and a trade swapping Kolb for cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is still on the table. McClane added the Eagles may not strike a deal today, and it'll be interesting to see if they require Kolb to report for training camp tomorrow if this stretches past today. But all signs still point to a deal at some point.
