According to NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora, the Seahawks are making a play for Rice.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Rice racked up 12 touchdowns and nearly 1,500 yards for the Minnesota Vikings two years ago but there was limited by an injured hip last fall. Still, as previously noted, somebody is going to pay for his potential. Landing in Seattle would pair Rice with Mike Williams -- a definite positive for both -- but also with what seems all but certain to be less than a front-line QB. ... Stay tuned. We suspect others will express interest in Rice before Friday, when he can actually sign a contract with a new team.
