Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to Star-Ledger staffer Jenny Vrentas, terms of the offer were not immediately available. The timing is interesting, as news came soon after receiver Santana Moss reportedly agreed to a 3-year, $15 million deal with the Redskins, according to ESPN. Washington was expected to be one of the teams in hot pursuit of Holmes, with the potential to price other teams out. ... In a related note, Vrentas also reports that Braylon Edwards was still in play for the team, in case it was priced out of the Holmes sweepstakes.
