The Facts:
At running back, the Broncos' budget constraints may preclude them from signing a feature ball carrier such as Williams. Although Fox is the only head coach Williams played for in his five seasons with the Panthers, the Broncos would like to sign a back for roughly half Williams' contract.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Two backs of interest are Baltimore's Willis McGahee and Atlanta's Jason Snelling. McGahee's workload has diminished the past two seasons, but he remains productive in the area where Moreno has not -- the red zone, particularly in the goal-to-go area. Snelling is familiar with Broncos GM Brian Xanders, who spent his first 15 NFL seasons with the Falcons. If the Broncos want to complement Knowshon Moreno with more speed, Philadelphia's Jerome Harrison could be an option.
