The Facts:
Last night, the Giants and receiver Burress decided to get together. The only problem? Under the 2011 Transition Rules, they can’t until Friday at 6:00 p.m. ET. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello provided earlier this morning a somewhat cryptic response to the question of whether get-togethers may occur. “Can’t visit teams today,” Aiello told PFT via e-mail.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Bob Glauber of Newsday reports that, as applied to Burress and the Giants, it means that there will be no visit. Per Glauber, no visits are permitted until Friday. Thus, for now, any discussions between Burress and the Giants must happen via phone. ... Meanwhile, Newark Star-Ledger staffer Mike Garafolo believes the Texans, Bears and Rams are the teams other than New York that might have an interest in Burress.
