So much for the Broncos efforts to land a high-end prospect to bolster their rushing attack. Of course, Williams said all along that he planned to give the Panthers "first stab" at keeping him. And to their credit, Carolina came through with an impressive deal that will keep Williams working in tandem with Jonathan Stewart for the foreseeable furture.
