Delhomme's release comes as no surprise. ... Nor does his desire to continue playing. After all, Delhomme earned $7 million playing for the Browns while collecting another $12.65 million from the Panthers from his previous contract. Football has been very good to Jake Delhomme. It remains to be seen, of course, if anybody is willing to continue investing in him.
