Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As CSNNE.com's Tom Curran notes, the 34-year-old Morris is now almost a full-time special teamer. He's carried 93 times over the past two seasons and started five of the 28 games he's played. How does this impact the running back depth chart? Not too profoundly, according to Curran. The lead back is BenJarvus Green-Ellis, the changeup back is Danny Woodhead. Rookie Shane Vereen becomes a hybrid of the two who can fill either role and rookie Stevan Ridley is more of a between-the-tackles guy. Thomas Clayton is a down-the-roster guy trying to establish a role. ... No news yet on Kevin Faulk, who is also a free agent.
