Orton, meanwhile, has reported to the Broncos' team facility with the expectation that he will attend John Fox's training camp opening team meeting today. Orton was the Broncos' starting QB the past two years, throwing 41 touchdown passes against 21 interceptions. But because he senses the franchise is ready to go forward with second-year quarterback Tim Tebow, Orton has asked to be traded. The Broncos have said they won't give him away, that they would keep Orton if they don't get what they deem to be fair value in return. Orton's $8.829 million salary for 2011. If traded to Miami, Orton would be reunited with WR Brandon Marshall, who caught 101 passes for 1,120 yards and 10 touchdowns in the 15 games they played together as Broncos. ...
