According to Chicago Sun-Times staffer Sean Jensen, the Bears are expected to sign Williams, who was released by the Dallas Cowboys.

The 6-3, 215-pound Williams will certainly provide the size and a more imposing physical presence than the Bears currently boast at wideout. Remember: Williams made it to the Pro Bowl working under current Bears OC Mike Martz in Detroit in 2006. He set career highs with 82 catches and 1,310 yards. It will be interesting to see what kind of role the Bears have in mind.
