Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Oregonian (via Profootballtalk.com) is reporting that the two sides have agreed to terms on a two year deal. ... While most of the attention in recent days has focused on the possibility of a trade for Orton, the Dolphins' interest in Moore isn't something new. As
previously noted, Moore has ties to Dolphins HC Tony Sparano and GM Jeff Ireland as both were on staff with the Cowboys when Dallas signed Moore as an undrafted free agent in 2007. Also worth noting is the fact that Moore, despite being only 26 years old, has plenty of game experience with 11 starts and 20 appearances during the three seasons he's been on the Panthers' active roster. Given his youth, we'll go ahead and suggest that Fantasy Football owners with Chad Henne on their rosters in Dynasty leagues might be more concerned with Moore's arrival than if they had secured the services of a higher profile -- and older -- veteran.
