Following up on the ongoing story. ... Burress was back at St. Vincent College this morning, meeting with HC Mike Tomlin and director of football operations Kevin Colbert. Burress, the Steelers' first-round pick of the 2000 NFL Draft, spent the past two years in prison on felony weapon charges. Reported by the Beaver County Times

It is believed that the Giants and Steelers are the two teams he's most interested in playing for. After playing five seasons wth the Steelers, Burress played four seasons with the Giants before going to prison. He was scheduled to meet with Giants HC Tom Coughlin last night. ... Meanwhile, Times staffer Mike Bires reports that Ben Roethlisberger all but begged Tomlin and Colbert to bring Burress back on Friday. "I've been talking to him. I've been talking to him the past couple months," Roethlisberger said."I talked to him the other day and asked him, 'Would you be interested in coming here?' "I'm excited for him to come whenever he comes here. ..." Stay tuned. We haven't heard the last of Burress this weekend.
