The Facts:
Hernandez (hip) returned to practice Saturday morning after spending the first two days of camp on the active/physically unable to perform list. "They were taking it slow, making sure I was healthy because of the lockout. They were keeping an eye on me, because they didn't really know where I was at [physically]," Hernandez said after practice. "But I feel good and I'm ready to go."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Assuming he is indeed ready to go, Hernandez figures to reprise his role as a partner-in-crime with Rob Gronkowski. Both see about the same amount of opportunities, and either can explode in any given week. Hernandez closes the gap in PPR leagues (he was targeted more last season) but Gronkowski is the overall better Fantasy value. Still, it's close, and Hernandez is hardly a door prize. He had 101 yards in only his second start and posted five games of 50 or more yards (one more than his counterpart). ... Worth noting: Hernandez donned a No. 81 jersey this morning. "I had a chance to get my college number [81] back, and [Chad Ochocinco] obviously wanted 85," Hernandez explained. "It wasn't a problem. So I thought he deserved it and should get it. ..." Without paying for it? The Ocho wins again.
