New HC Pat Shurmur said Saturday that Watson apparently took a knee to the back of his helmet during the team’s first practice. Watson slipped to the ground on the turf and was hit. He went to the sidelines, then slowly walked to the locker room, accompanied by trainers. We'll follow up as needed, but the league's emphasis on concussions and player safety will almost certainly result in a cautious approach for Watson, who remains the team's most dangerous receiving threat as of the opening of camp.
