Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
After losing wide receiver Sidney Rice to the Seahawks earlier this week, the Vikings found themselves in the market for a wideout who can line up on the outside and stretch the field for Percy Harvin. As NFP staffer Joe Fortenbaugh points out, whether or not Jenkins is that guy remains to be seen. While the 6-4, 217-pounder brings size, experience and a physical style of play to a team in need of all three attributes, we'll go ahead and suggest his seven rather nondescript receiving efforts during his tenure in Atlanta speak volumes. Indeed, Jenkins has been more effective as a downfield blocker than pass catcher. It would be unwise to expect a major turnaround now.
