McGahee has three seasons of at least 1,100 yard rushing _ 2004 and 2005 in Buffalo, where his running backs coach was Eric Studesville, who now holds the same position with Broncos, and 2007 in Baltimore -- but the stat that should be most encouraging to the team is his 14 total touchdowns (12 rushing; 2 receiving) in 2009 on just 109 carries and 15 receptions. As Post staffer Mike Klis notes, that suggests he is a red zone/goal line machine, something the Broncos haven’t had since 2005.
