Heyward-Bey was out again for practice Saturday -- the team's first in pads -- and said he is close to returning. "Day to day," he said.

HC Hue Jackson won't say what's wrong with DHB, and neither will DHB. "I can't really say," Heyward-Bey said. "Just trying to get back, trying to get ready. I am in meetings and everything, staying on top of everything and being a coach on the sidelines." When asked if the injury was above the waist or below the waist, Heyward-Bey said, "It might be a toothache. ..." Given his production to date as a pro, one could argue his health is moot. But we'll follow up as needed.
