The Facts:
HC Hue Jackson just revealed to the media in his Sunday news conference that Ford suffered a broken left hand and could be out a couple of weeks. “He broke his left hand and (it’s) unfortunate,” Jackson said. ”Everybody’s looking, going, ‘Oh gosh, here we go.’ Jacoby Ford will be fine, O.K. And, again, those are the things that happen. But he’s good. He’ll be back. I feel very good about it. He’s good, his spirits are good and we’ll be rolling soon.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Raiders are counting upon Ford to be one of their primary playmakers this season on the heels of his stellar rookie season last season. Ford appeared to hurt his hand during practice Saturday. He was spotted with his left hand wrapped afterward but did not speak with the media. ... Ford’s absence gives younger receivers more of an opportunity to press their case for inclusion on the 53-man roster.
