Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Dixon's agent Jeff Sperbeck told ESPN's James Walker, the desire for a trade and an opportunity to compete for a starting job remains the same. But it was best for Dixon to get into training camp before he missed more time. Pittsburgh offered a fifth-round tender to Dixon, who has backed up Ben Roethlisberger the past three seasons. Other teams can sign Dixon this summer at the expense of losing a late-round draft pick. Pittsburgh also has the right to match any offer.
