Malcom Floyd's Future Still Unclear; Chargers WRs Pecking Order Isn't
(8/1 7:8 PT)

The Facts:
Yes, there is still a chance Floyd will be a Charger in 2011. A slim chance that is better than none only because of how the market has fallen. Reported by the San Diego Union-Tribune

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
So wrote Union-Tribune staffer Kevin Acee, who went on to explain that Floyd is waiting for a call many expected would come in the first couple days after the free agency negotiating period opened. Floyd will end up somewhere, but likely for about half what his agent was initially asking, Acee is told. That initial asking price topped $5 million. It would need to come down even further for Floyd to return to the Chargers. ... Meanwhile, the Chargers feel good about a wide receiver corps that goes -- and Acee advised readers to pay attention to the order -- Vincent Jackson, Patrick Crayton, Vincent Brown, Kelley Washington and Seyi Ajirotutu. ... Crayton as the No. 2 makes sense. He was producing at a blistering pace before a wrist injury sidelined him late in November. In the five games immediately before he was hurt, Crayton pulled in 23 passes for 420 yards (with one TD). He'll be worth watching assuming Floyd moves on.
