Austin Collie Hits The Practice Field
(8/1 7:14 PT)

The Facts:
Collie, who suffered three concussions last season, returned to the field today at Anderson University as the Colts began the training camp practice schedule. After the morning practice, he spoke about the experience. "It's good, it feels good," said Collie. "It feels good to be back with the guys and make sure that we're all on the same page to get going. ... It was fun, just going through the plays and asking questions. It feels good to be back with the team and be part of it again." Reported by Colts.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
When asked if he would be limited in any way in practice, he said, "I have no idea, as of right now, no." When asked if being back on the field with his teammates after spending portions of the 2010 season off it made him feel a little like a fish back in the water, he replied, "Yeah, definitely. It feels right, it feels good. ..." Collie has been a valuable addition to the club's offensive arsenal during his first two seasons. He caught 60 passes for 676 yards and seven touchdowns in 16 games as a rookie, and then hauled in 58 passes for 649 yards and eight scores in starting six of nine games last year. He pulled in at least five passes in seven outings in 2010. He could be Fantasy Football gold -- but the concussion issues will be an ongoing concern. It makes Collie a perfect example of risk versus reward.
