Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports Sanders will be out three weeks following complications after two foot surgeries this offseason.

Sanders sat out the start of training camp, but it was believed to be precautionary. Instead, PFT has learned Sanders didn’t recover as expected from surgery on his heel. Sanders took an injection in his left foot that took bone marrow from his heel to speed healing process. ... Remember: Hines Ward (thumb) opened camp on the PUP list and now Sanders will miss most of August. That leaves Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown taking the starters snaps in camp right now.
