As previously noted, the Raiders were convinced Miller
would wait patiently until they had all their ducks in a row before re-signing him. That might have been the case -- before
the Seahawks jumped into the fray. It's a noticeable upgrade at a position of need for the Seahawks. John Carlson has failed to emerge as the kind of threat expected since he was drafted while Miller has led Oakland in catches, targets and receiving yards in each of the last three seasons.
