John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports the team agreed to a two-year contract with Vickers on Wednesday. Vickers reportedly got $500,000 to sign on a $3 million deal.

Vickers had a nice run in Cleveland and makes a lot of sense as a lead blocker in a zone scheme. While former Texans Pro Bowl FB Vonta Leach will surely help the Ravens, we agree with PFT's Gregg Rosenthal: The Texans running game will be just fine when they go without a fullback or when they put Vickers on the field.
