The Facts:
Lewis, who practiced all week and was never added t the team's injury report, is watching today's game against the Broncos from the sidelines in street clothes. According to the CBS broadcast team, Lewis has been bothered by a sore hand all week and the problem was so bad today that he was unable to grip the ball. Chester Taylor is starting in his absence.

Certainly a surprising development, especially given the fact that Lewis was not declared inactive and as far as we've seen -- and we do watch closely, the hand injury has gone unreported. It will interesting to see how this is explained and whether the league will have anything to say about it.
