As Schefter suggested, it could be a prime spot for a one-year deal. The same, of course, could be said for most any team willing to make Edwards and offer at this point. In fact, Edwards' ability to command a high-end contract has waned so much that even the Jets would be willing to have him back -- at the right price. "If Braylon wants to come for what we want to pay, come on back," Jets HC Rex Ryan said today. ... The 49ers clearly have a greater need than the Jets, but we'll see how it plays out. Stay tuned.
