While HC Jim Schwartz says it isn't overly serious, the Lions are holding him out so he can heal. "He's got a little crack in his hand - no surgery or anything like that," said Schwartz. "Being a ball carrier, it's important to be able to protect the ball. The one thing is: we don't have a lot of contact now, but a lot of our guys are slapping at the ball and things like. We want to avoid it getting hit for a little while, but there's really nothing to be concerned about. ..." If all goes according to plan, of course, we'll see much more of Jahvid Best and rookie Mikel Leshoure than Morris this season.
