As Scout.com's Aaron Wilson notes, Scaife is an athletic tight end who played collegiately at the University of Texas. He played with Vince Young in both college and in Nashville.
Scaife was supportive of Young during the signal caller's late-season meltdown last season leading some to believe that his stance cost him a spot on the Titans roster. We're not sure that's the case, but if his departure clears the way for Jared Cook to prove his potential, we're fine with it.
