While the foot will seemingly be an ongoing issue, the fact that Gates came off the PUP as advertised is a great sign. We'll continue to watch for more and keep a close eye out for indications the plantar fasciitis he'll likely deal with to some degree all season. We'll also remind you again that Gates remains the consensus No. 1 TE on
our Staff Rankings despite the tender foot.
